Jose Antonio Primo de Rivera(1903-1936) - Spain


He founded Falange Espa�ola, the Spanish Phalanx, in 1933, which sought to make a nation free of Communism. In the general election in 1936, Falange won only 0.7% of the votes, but it grew rapidly and by July it had more than 40,000 members. Primo de Rivera was a supporter of the military rebellion in July 1936 against the republican government, and during the Spanish Civil War the Falange became the dominant political movement of the Nationalists. He wrote the lyrics to the Falangist anthem Cara al Sol.

He was captured on the 6th of July 1936, and held in captivity until being executed in Alicante on 20th November 1936. His complete life story and published works here

Corneliu Zelea Codreanu(1899-1938) - Romania


The founder of “The Legion of the Archangel Michael”, known also as the “Iron Guard” from Romania. The is known as the founder of the christian- nationalism, one of the most profound and spiritual nationalist ideologies. He began his battle as an anti- bolshevik militant during his years as a student in the city of Iasi.

Later on, the organized the complex social-political Legionary Movement and was elected several time in the romanian Parliament. He was murdered while under police custody on the orders of King Carol II. At he time of his death, almost 270.000 romanians were enlisted in the Legionary Movement.
